All portraits this week. I think there are definitely some weak points throughout these pieces but hey, all I an do is work to get better. I really feel my use of value is getting better... so I am pleased about that. Although, my self portrait could be pushed into darker values along the core shadows.
The portrait of the old man is eerily realistic. This sketch is so lifelike, it's like staring into the eyes of a real human being, especially when you see it in person.
