Some more work from last weeks anatomy assignments.

A study of the pelvic region. I enjoyed working on this piece. I think I will probably work on more studies of these shapes to better express them in my figurative drawing.

Some work from last weeks anatomy assignments.

About an hour or so study of the rib cage. I think I will do more studies of the spine and ribs. I found this study to be particularly difficult as there are so many bones and shapes to keep track of visually.

And the last one.

Last of this weeks work in the anatomy class. For the most part I am pleased with this drawing, being that it is the first study of the human foot (skeleton) I have ever done. It is lacking some accuracy and the big toe seems flat to me.

And another!

Yet more anatomy work. This week was spent on skeletal studies mostly. I liked working on this piece, however, the reference image was a bit low in resolution and some details were lost to me. Over all I was pleased with this rendering, however, the lower right leg (left side of image) bothers me. I think I implied a shape that isn't actually there.

And another!

More anatomy work. I am pleased with how this piece turned out. I should have put more detail into the feet, however, I was working on too small a page. I also don't care for how I rendered the penis, it's off from the reference image... mostly cause I didn't really feel like staring at it for an unnecessary amount of time :)

More work from the Anatomy class!

Here is some of my latest anatomy work. I didn't impress myself with this piece. It needs further refinement. I may take another shot at it.

Blocking Progress Turntable.

Here is the current progress turntable.

Patrick

Almost ready for export to Z-Brush.

Here are the orthographic views of my blocked model for Organic Modeling. There are some minor changes throughout the model in contrast to last weeks progress. Ill be uploading a turntable momentarily also.

And the last one.

And another!

Annnd more!

Another piece.

More anatomy class work.

I feel like the following pieces are better than last weeks but still lacking a particular amount of structure. I am picking up a few new techniques that should help me construct my figure better which should help in my up coming exercises.

Off to a good start...

Ok, it's the first day of class and I am nearly done with much of the blocking for the Human model we will be exporting out to Z-Brush. Here is the work so far. I also read through this weeks module already. Once I take the quiz, Ill be done with that class for the week. Yeah, son!

First day of the semester.

Well, wish me luck. Its the first day of my 3rd semester. It already feels like I am going to have quite a bit on my plate, however, being the motivated individual I am I think I will manage to do just fine this semester. In fact, I think I will do better than my last semester.

It looks like I will have some great instructors and classmates. I will be coming out of this semester with a deeper understanding of 3D Modeling, Anatomy and a much more broad perspective on Art in General.

Alright, that's all for now.
